The SavorOne Cash Rewards Card has no annual fee, so you won’t need to worry about an added yearly cost as a card member.

While some no-annual-fee credit cards don’t come with a welcome bonus, the SavorOne isn’t one of them. You can earn $200 cash back after you spend $500 in the first three months of account opening.

You’ll also benefit from a 0% introductory APR offer for the first 15 months as a SavorOne Cash Rewards cardholder. This intro APR applies to both new purchases and balance transfers. After that, the card’s regular APR of 29.99% goes into effect.

While this card gives you a 0% APR on balance transfers for 15 months, a fee of 3% of the total amount transferred applies during this promotional period.

You can earn lucrative rewards on the following purchases:

  • 10% cash back on Uber or Uber Eats purchases, plus a monthly statement credit for an Uber One membership through Nov. 14, 2024

  • 8% cash back on ticket purchases made through Capital One Entertainment

  • 5% cash back on rental car and hotel bookings made through Capital One Travel

  • 3% cash back on dining, grocery store purchases, entertainment, and select streaming services purchases

  • 1% cash back on all other qualifying purchases

You earn at least 1% cash back on eligible purchases made with your Capital One SavorOne Cash Rewards Credit Card. However, transactions like cash advances, balance transfers, and credit card checks don’t earn rewards.

Capital One offers a higher cash-back rate in several popular purchase categories, including grocery stores, dining, and entertainment. That said, certain purchases, including those made at big-box stores, convenience stores, warehouse clubs, and some food trucks, may not be coded as grocery store or dining purchases. Likewise, certain entertainment purchases may not be coded as such, including some amusement park tickets.

You can redeem your cash-back earnings in several ways, including statement credits, checks, gift cards, and credits for select purchases made through third-party sites like Amazon.

Capital One lets you redeem your rewards manually whenever you want or automatically redeem them by setting a specific timeframe or threshold amount for redemption in your online dashboard. For instance, you might opt to redeem your rewards once a year or when your balance reaches $500.

Besides the above perks, you’ll also get other benefits with this card, including the following:

  • No foreign transaction fees: You won’t need to worry about added fees when you use your card to make purchases abroad.

  • Extended warranty coverage: As a card member, you’ll get two-year extended warranty protection on eligible purchases.

  • Travel accident insurance: This card comes with built-in travel accident insurance, so you’re protected against certain covered losses on trips.

  • Concierge service: Capital One’s 24-hour concierge service can help you book tickets, make reservations at restaurants, and assist with travel arrangements.

  • Emergency card replacement: Emergency card replacement and cash advances are also available if your card is lost or stolen.

The SavorOne Cash Rewards Card is ideal for those who spend frequently at grocery stores, restaurants, and on entertainment. It could also be a good choice if you often make bookings through Capital One Travel. Making purchases in those categories will help you maximize your cashback earnings with this card.

Likewise, if you’re looking for a card with no annual fee and a welcome offer, this card could fit the bill. It also offers a fairly long 0% intro APR period of 15 months, making it a suitable choice if you have a large purchase coming up or want to transfer a balance from another card.

  • High earnings in popular spending categories: You’ll get lucrative rewards in common spending categories, including grocery stores, restaurants, and entertainment, with this card.

  • Access to Capital One-specific perks: Cardholders get access to perks like advance ticket purchases through Capital One Entertainment, discounts through Capital One Shopping, and exclusive reservations via Capital One Dining.

  • Helpful security features: Get helpful security features like virtual card numbers to protect your physical card’s information, security and account alerts, $0 fraud liability, and the option to lock your card remotely if it’s lost or stolen.

  • Credit report tracking: Capital One lets you track your Experian and TransUnion credit reports through its CreditWise tool.

  • APR could be high: The standard APR is 29.99%. In comparison, the average credit card APR is 21.59%, according to the Federal Reserve.

  • Limited rewards for travel bookings: You’ll only get a high rewards rate on qualifying rental car and hotel bookings made through Capital One Travel. There are no increased rewards for direct travel bookings or those made through third-party sites.

  • Superstore spending doesn’t qualify for high rewards: You won’t earn increased rewards for grocery purchases made at stores like Target or Walmart.

  • Excellent credit might be needed: Capital One indicates you might need an excellent credit score to qualify for this card.

The Capital One SavorOne Cash Rewards Card has many perks, but it isn’t the right choice for everyone. Consider these other rewards cards, too.

Why we like it: If you prefer earning flat-rate cash back on all your purchases, the Quicksilver Cash Rewards Card could be a fit. With this card, you'll get 1.5% cash back on all eligible spending, so you won’t need to worry about tracking bonus categories to maximize your rewards.

Like the SavorOne Card, the Quicksilver card comes with a welcome bonus: Earn $200 after spending $500 on qualifying purchases in the first three months. You also won’t pay an annual fee with this card.

Why we like it: Those interested in earning rewards on travel purchases might appreciate what the Venture Rewards Card has to offer. With this card, you get 5X miles on hotel and rental car bookings in Capital One Travel and 2X miles on all other qualifying purchases. However, it comes with a $95 annual fee.

But this card’s welcome bonus is what really sets it apart from competitors. Cardholders earn 75,000 miles after they spend $4,000 within the first three months of account opening. While the exact value of those miles varies depending on how you redeem them, at one cent per mile, that bonus would be worth $750.

Why we like it: The Chase Sapphire Preferred Card is another great option if you’re interested in earning travel rewards. Cardholders get 5X points on travel booked through Chase; 3X points on restaurant, online grocery store, and qualifying streaming service purchases; 2X points on other travel bookings; and 1X points on everything else. This card also has a $95 annual fee.

Cardholders can earn a generous welcome bonus: Get 75,000 points after spending $4,000 in the first three months.
